What's wrong with Jane? There are two things with the front axle (is that the word?) that need to be fixed. Don't ask me what, I don't know details. But I've known this for a while, they already told me last time that it had to be fixed eventually. She's up for her 90,000 km service checkup and she also needs what we call TÜV inspection. It's something that the government makes you do every two years, it's like a mandatory checkup. If you don't do it and the police stops you and they find your car's overdue, you get fined.

I guess Jane had it coming for a while. She seems a bit on the susceptible side where repairs are concerned, but I hope this will be the last one in a while. She's five years old, I guess she's starting to go into the maintenance phase a little earlier. But I don't really wanna get rid of her. I love her beautiful almond eyes and I only recently got the steering wheel radio remote control especially, because I love it so much. I'm gonna keep her for a while and hope she won't cause that much more trouble.

-TeeJay

Call me clubfoot. I have a mosquito bite on my right ankle that's swelling up like a b.... It's starting to hurt too. Looks like I might be spending tomorrow morning at the doctor's office if it doesn't get better overnight. People have been scaring me with horror stories about septicemia... Maybe I'll even go tonight after work.

Add to that the fact that my car was supposed to be repaired today but I won't get it back until tomorrow. Major suckage. Can this day just end, please?

-TeeJay

Thankfully, I don't have any congenital defects or anything that I've had since I was a little kid other than the usual stuff. But I'm telling you, girls, enjoy youth for as long as it lasts. It really goes downhill, once you turn 25. LOL Lately I've had lots of back problems. I can count the days I haven't had back pain in the last few months on one hand. But I don't wanna whine, you kinda get used to it and I'm going to gym to try and build up some muscle and counteract all that's wrong with my back.

I'm allergic to tree pollen, mostly birch. January to around June are pretty much hell, March, April and May are the worst. I also can't seem to find any meds that help me--and I've tried quite a few. I'm also cross-allergic to apples and raw nuts (mostly hazelnut). And melon, as I've recently found out. Which is really sucky because I don't eat a lot of fruit, and those were among the few things that I actually like. Since about a year, I'm also allergic to cats. Which just majorly sucks because I love cats.

I still have my tonsils, still have everything that was in my body originally. I've never broken any bones (at least not that I know of) and I've never had surgery. Except maybe for the one wisdom tooth they had to dig out. So I have everything in my body except my upper right wisdom tooth.

Oh, here's a funny thing about me: I was born with only one set of wisdom teeth. You usually have one set in your upper jaw and one in your lower jaw, right? Well, I only ever had the upper ones, and now I only have one left. My front teeth are also a little crooked because when it came out, it pushed them together a little. But I'm not gonna have that corrected.

That's pretty much all the bodily anomalies I have to offer.

Dee, I hope you feel better and that the tonsillitis has healed by now.

-TeeJay

You had a cast on your hips for three months when you were a baby? Wow. I had to wear my cast for a whole year! Well, it was not a real cast, but it was something similar I don't know the English word for. There was also something wrong with my hips.
But if you wanna hear the whole story about my illness, here is it: I was born with Sturge-Weber-Syndrome, a rare congenital disorder. Thanks to Tina for that translation. LOL There is usually some damage on the brain too, that causes epilepsy, but luckily I never got that. I do not have seizures, but I have other problems, like my left leg is a little shorter than the right one, which means that I can't wear every shoe and I need to get a bigger sole for the left one. Also my left arm is bigger than the right one. That's not very good with shopping for clothes because I often have to buy it one or two sizes bigger because the arm does not fit.
And the most prominent feature, I think, is my port wine stains. You might have seen them already in the pics I posted here. It's mostly in the face, but there are some on my body too. Most of the time I am okay with living with them, but I have to say, sometimes it sucks. It can get annoying having all the people or children staring at you all the time. Sometimes people ask dumb questions too. I mean, I don't mind answering a serious question about it, but I don't like stupid questions like "Is it contagious?" "Does it hurt?" "Are you a clown?"
Sometimes I put make-up on, so it's not that visible, but I can't hide it completely and I am usually fine living with it, so I don't need any make-up. Plus it's annoying in the summer because it's hot out there and in the winter the stains get darker because it's cold, so it's even more visible, even with make-up.

Had my tonsils out when I was three. I have lots of little maladies. I'm old. Nothing you wanna hear about, believe me.

I'm deaf in my left ear. Had an inner ear infection also when I was about three and I lost my hearing. But I do just fine with mono-hearing. Just can't stand headphones. And I have to make people walk and sit on my right side so I can hear them. I think I also read lips a little.
