Yeah, that's why it pisses me off to no end that Hollywood funds fewer and fewer films every year, but throws bigger and bigger budgets at them. I really kinda hate the film industry. Which is why I don't often regret that I quit trying to break into it. Film execs are the most vile, disgusting excuses for human I've ever encountered.

Crazy to think that even with the name "Scott" production companies put him through the hoops. Its a crazy industry. I hope financially things get better for everyone, but especially independent films need to be supported. They shut down AFI Dallas because of finances, and only re-open it when the festival is back. Which, I don't know if it even came this year.
